Ann-Sophie Deldycke was born in 1987 in Bruges, Belgium. In Ghent she received a degree in Journalism in 2009. In 2015 she became a freelance photographer. Since then she started working for companies and magazines. In her work Ann-Sophie combines her love for life, travel and food. She focuses on reportage and food photography. In her reportage work Ann-Sophie’s journalistic background clearly stands out. She emphasizes that she thinks first and foremost as a human being and only then as a photographer. Her pursuit is to see beyond stereotypes. She often acts like a fly on the wall. This results in photos which sometimes have an ironic twist to it. In 2019 she won the third price for ‘Food in action’ at the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the year and two years later she won the second worldwide price for ‘Lady Food Photographer of the year’.
